Black bridge

Black bridge

Mont-Tremblant, QC

Nestled in the heart of a dense woodland, the residence enjoys open views to the northeast. Its elongated volume rests on two stone masses and takes inspiration from traditional Québec covered bridges, reinterpreted in a contemporary architectural language.

The layout is organized into three distinct zones: the interior living spaces and the primary suite on the ground floor, the secondary bedrooms and family room upstairs, and a separate volume dedicated to garages and storage for outdoor activities.

The combination of wood, stone and steel gives the house a strong yet timeless character. The metal roof highlights the movement of the main volume and reinforces its connection to the surrounding landscape.

The living areas extend naturally outdoors with a terrace, a pool and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with island. This generous layout creates a place for gathering and relaxing in close contact with nature.

Pont Noir expresses a thoughtful balance between heritage and modern living, between raw strength and a warm sense of home, between grounded architecture and openness to the forest.
