Résidence Marie-Victorin

Québec (Sillery), QC

This large, upscale residence with highly contemporary architecture is made up of 2 main volumes that feature an L-shaped plan. The entrance is located at the intersection of these 2 volumes, between the garage to the right and the main block to the left, consisting of 2 “boxes”—one with black stained wood, and the other, covered with torrefied wood, which seems to have “slid” toward the front of the house. This configuration makes it possible to deploy a fully glazed wall on the backyard, protected from view by the volume of the garage.
